Ms. Fernandez is well known for her warmth, fashionable outfits, and boldness. She is unafraid to speak her opinions and encourages the same from her students. Being part of her US History I class as a freshman has become a rite of passage for many of the bright juniors and seniors, who say having Ms. Fernandez as a teacher empowered them to embrace challenges and an open mind. As a child, she was inspired to become a teacher by her mother, and her unflinching passion is truly reflected in the way many students look up to her.
